All about beard oil in Dubai
Beard oil in Dubai – Bearded men were turning heads long before The New York Times declared facial hair fashionable. There’s just something about a well-groomed guy that makes you stop and stare. You’ll also notice when there’s a hair askew, or the way the not-so-sexy scruff feels against your face.
“Most men don’t believe they need to use any products at all,”
Luckily, there’s a product to help with that and it’s called beard oil. Packed with conditioning ingredients like jojoba oil, grapeseed oil and argan oil, Dove Men+Care hair expert Jason Schneidman believes it is essential for maintaining facial hair.
“Most men don’t believe they need to use any products at all,” says Schneidman. “Men should take care of their facial hair as much as they take care of the hair on their heads.”
Here’s How Beard Oil Will Help You Get Rid Of That Dreaded Beard Itch in Dubai
Just about every man that grows a beard after about one month will start to notice that it gets a bit itchy, especially with the dubai hot weather. While some beardsmen like to just “push through” this phase, this discomfort is completely unnecessary with the added use of beard oil.
To understand why your beard is getting itchy, its important to look at what is going on with the skin beneath your beard and how beard oil plays a role.
At the root of every one of your beard follicles, you have a pair of glands called sebaceous glands. These glands are key to making sure that your beard stays well nourished. The sebaceous glands create this oil called sebum oil.
As your beard follicle gets longer, it simply requires more and more sebum oil to coat the follicle while also keep your skin well nourished and moisturized.
One important key to understand is that no matter the length of your beard, your sebaceous glands stay the same size. Given that they are finite in size, their sebum oil production can’t effectively keep up with the demand of your beard follicle, and the heat and evaporation make the situation worse. that’s why you need beard oil in Dubai more then any other place.
As you can see, no matter the length of your beard, sebum oil remains constant. Therefore when your beard gets to a certain length (every man is different but typically after a few weeks of growth), their sebum oil just simply isn’t enough.
This is when your beard and more importantly, your skin becomes dried out and itchy.
Therefore the introduction of beard oil will actually act as a supplement to your sebum oil making the dreaded beard itch go away while also giving it the proper nourishment that it is seeking.
Beard oil moisturizes facial hair and the skin beneath.
It is hydrating to the skin and helps soften and tame beard hair, which means it also does double-duty as a styling agent. According to Schneidman, the ideal beard should look shiny and groomed — not dusty, flaky and shaggy.
The best time to apply beard oil is right after washing your face.
Schneidman recommends putting on nourishing oil first thing in the morning after showering or cleansing. “This way, your hair follicles and pores are open and can easily absorb the oil,” he adds. “Caring for skin, particularly cleansing and moisturization, is crucial, especially if you live in a cold or dry climate. We tend to think ‘more is better,’ but just a few drops of most things is plenty.”
Rub the nourishing oil into your hand, then massage it throughout your beard like this:
Beard oil keeps facial hair flake-free and smelling fresh.
Thanks to moisturizing oils, a little beard oil is just enough to tame those flyaway hairs and eliminate flakes (a.k.a. beard-druff). And with so many musky/woody essential oils like cedarwood and sandalwood, Schneidman points out that this often overlooked product also acts as a natural cologne.
How to use a beard oil in dubai
Beard oil typically comes in small bottles that range from 1 to 3 fluid ounces in size. Each beard oil company uses different caps or pouring mechanisms. Beardbrand bottles have an orifice reducer inside the bottle, which leads to easy dispensing of our awesome beard oils.
Pouring beard oil is definitely not rocket science, but it can be tricky. The key is to turn the bottle over and tap the bottle into your open hand. The goal is to not waste any of the oil. If using a bottle with a dropper, make sure to put the droplet directly back into the bottle vs. resting it on a countertop. It’s important to prevent contamination of your oils.
To help answer any questions you might have, I’ve gone ahead and created a video on how to pour beard oils.
Now that you have our super awesome beard oil in your palm, you’ll want to rub it between your hands to even the distribution. The next step is to work the beard oil into your skin, then onto your beard. Make sure you don’t neglect the mustache area. I prefer and recommend applying beard oil while your skin is still warm and damp from a recent shower. The pores are open and it will work itself into the skin.
If you have any extra, I suggest rubbing it onto your elbows, neck, or into your hair. Nourishing oil is designed to make the skin healthy and healthy skin results in a healthy beard.
How often you use beard oil is really up to you. I use it daily and prefer the feeling of my beard with a leave-in conditioner. My beard is about 12 months long. If your beard is shorter, or you live in a more humid climate, then you could probably get away with using beard oil every few days. In a dryer climate, you might need to apply beard oil a couple of times each day.
Beard oil that uses natural essential oils for the fragrance will last shorter than your typical synthetic fragrance-based product. The scent is the strongest when you apply it, and will fade gradually. You’ll also need to take into consideration that your nose will adjust to the scent and make it less noticeable. Check with a friend to see if they can smell your awesome scent before lathering up for a boost.
